Who Am I?

Who are you and how long have you been here?

My name is Isha and I’ve been a pupil at St. George’s Cologne for 9 years.

What is your favourite memory from Secondary school?

Having been at St. George’s with some of my friends for so long, some of my favourite high school memories so far definitely feature lazy lunchtimes and laughing until I cried. I think secondary school is a time when you make friendships that should last for a lifetime.

What one opportunity from Secondary school sticks in your mind most?

In secondary school I’ve been given so many opportunities to go on trips and I like how I’m getting real-life experiences in addition to the theoretical learning we do in school. All these opportunities are entirely optional and it comes down to your own enthusiasm if you’d like to take part.

There are a lot of clubs and teams available in Secondary school, which is your favourite?

I used to be part of the girl’s football and basketball teams, which gave me the opportunity to travel to other schools and meet other girls across Germany – some of whom I’m still in contact with. I like that this gave me new perspectives and I love the thrill of camaraderie and spirit that comes from playing in a team with your friends.
