SGS Cologne Secondary School

On November 30th, pupils from Years 7 and 8 came together to learn how people from Scotland celebrate St. Andrew’s Day – the patron saint of Scotland (amongst other countries). The pupils learned how to do Scottish Country Dancing thanks to the teachers at St. George’s who come from Scotland. The pupils went through dances such as the Canadian Barn Dance, Strip the Willow and the Military two step before doing one very large “ceilidh” (the Gaelic word for social event) in the Sports Hall.
