International Baccalaureate examinations:
- The average IB score per IB diploma student at St George’s was 34 points compared to the world average of 30 points.
- Our highest scorer, Cailin G., achieved 43 points, a score achieved by only 1% of the more than 50,000 IB diploma students worldwide in 2016.
- 16% of students taking the IB Diploma St George’s achieved 40 points or higher.
- The IB Diploma pass rate has continued to improve. The 2017 pass rate was 97%, this is an improvement of 1% with over twice as many students taking the IB Diploma compared to 2016.
A Level examinations:
- St George’s School Cologne had outstanding successes at A level this year with 58.6% of all examinations being graded A*-A.
- Congratulations to Georgia K., our highest achiever at A Level who received A*A*A grades.
- The overall A Level A*-C pass rate has increased from 66% in 2016 to 80% in 2017.
GCSE examinations:
- There was an outstanding number of our pupils being awarded the highest possible grade of A* which rose from 35.5% in 2016 to 40% in 2017.
- In 2017 64% of all the GCSE grades pupils achieved where an A*-A grade, a rise from 56% in 2016.
- The overall GCSE A*-C pass rate has increased from 89% in 2016 to 96% in 2017.
- A total of 5 students received all A* grades.
