Duke of Edinburgh Award

SUB-MENU

The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is a voluntary and non-competitive youth programme, which enables students to participate in practical, cultural, social and adventurous activities. It offers individual challenges to our students by encouraging them to undertake a range of activities, in which they might not normally participate in daily life.

The award promotes the personal and social development of participants by providing opportunities and incentives to engage with their communities, explore nature and acquire valued skills such as adaptability, problem solving, time management and the ability to accept and learn from criticism.

The award can be completed at three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold, each becoming progressively more challenging.

The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is also highly valued by UK universities.
